Animation, Graphic Novels, and the Art of Illustration (bilingual)

Storybooks and illustrations transport us to wonderful new worlds of fantasy and imagination. Come and explore the work of some of our favorite illustrators from manga/comic book artists to the creators of Alice in Wonderland, Peter Rabbit and Dr. Seuss. Students will love creating their own and unique stories all while learning techniques to draw animals, portraits, architecture, scenery, plants, and calligraphy. By the end of the season, students will leave with a miniature 3D world made of clay as well as beautifully illustrated books, and comic strips made in pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, and printmaking. No prerequisite. New students welcome each term.

No class: February 18 (Family Day) and March 11 (March Break).
